Site Changes
Currently the custom template for the website is being designed as we speak, but i will be using blogger as a kind of mock up, so I have a better idea of where to put all the features, buttons, magic macguffins and such.

And so it begins?
Hey folks and folkettes, for those who don't know, I've currently got a comic project on the go called Pure Eden, a mix of sci-fi, fantasy and post apocalypse all rolled into one. Currently the site wont have anything up apart from this post, but I will be putting up some test strips up hopefully in the next few weeks in order to see how it will look. But until then how about I give you a bit of information on the setting.
Technology is the center of our modern life and still is after it had destroyed most of the planet with an experimental weapon. A few hundred years later and the world has changed, the energy spread by the weapon has transformed the landscape, its inhabitants and the normal state of physics.
Creatures melded together to form chimeras, living beings of stone and metal, new lifeforms have come into being and with islands of rock and earth floating through the sky, seemingly done with magic, such mysterius power is used by the 2 biggest groups of people left in this world, for both the maintance of their small plots of Eden and in its defence.
The Empire is ruled by the Blood Family, thanks to being the sole users of Combat Class Mana technology. A dictatorship bent on conquering others, taking new technology and subverting it for their own use, all in the name of their Goddess of Technology.
The Exiles on the other hand are a loose group of monks, warriors and scavengers, banded together after being exiled from the Empire due to them trafficking in forbidden tech and for becoming a meld of man and machine, cyborgs. Even though they worship the same Goddess, they are mercillesly hunted down by the Empires army, but thanks to their true understanding of technology and willingness to use prosthetics, they have held the line even though they are outnumbered 50:1.
And this what the world has been for the past 3 decades, a constant battle for survival over resources, technology and religion, past mistakes continue on in a world where science is god and magic is technology.
I would like to note 2 things, A: this short synopsis is still in the drafting phase, the main details are there but there are a few things that may change, especially the names of the "Empire and Exiles", i've yet to come up with a snazzy name for both groups yet.
And B: this will be a comic that leans more to the adult side of things, there will be blood and gore, it will touch a few sensitive issues but there will be little if any naughty stuff, theres enough of that stuff on the internet already and I ain't gonna add any more to it.
